Zebra Earth Sciences Inc. has expanded it's rental capabilities by adding SM-20 magnetic susceptibility meters to it's pool of instruments for 2024.
The SM-20 magnetic susceptibility meter by GF Instruments is small tool for geological and geophysical applications. The SM-20's sensitivity of 0.000001 SI units makes it the ideal tool for basic analysis and classification to rock types and differentiation of diamagnetic, paramagnetic and ferromagnetic rocks. This instrument is operated using 2 buttons making it very simple and easy. Farther options enabled by the PC software include the ability to make notes, comments or labels. Introducing the PMG-2 Proton Magnetometer and Gradiometer
The PMG-2 by SatisGeo is a robust, reliable, easy to use magnetometer with a magnetic field range of 20,000 to 100,000 nT. Equipped with 2 sensors and allowing the user to measure with either 1 or both, allows for measurements to be recorded in 3 modes: manual, walk or auto.
Standard accessories included with the PMG-2: battery charger, anchor rings with ropes, pins, harness, manual transport case, USB dump cable as well as a USB memory stick with the PMG-2 software. Options and optional accessories for the PMG-2 include: 2 variants: magnetometers or magnetometer/gradiometer as well as SatisGeo’s GPS/GLONASS antenna options for up to 2 m accuracy.
